Wall Works – pointing with lime mortar - 10th and 11th Septemebr

Come an enjoy a weekend helping to preserve the walls of Smallcombe Cemetery. Whether you came last year and would like polish up your skills, or are new to using traditional forms of mortar you will be most welcome. The days are very hands on, and working as a team you will learn how to care for and revive these fine old walls.

 

All tools and materials will be provided. Suggest sturdy footwear and gloves (gardening or builders style are fine) and a packed lunch for each day. We’ll send you precise details closer to the time. If you can only make the first day that’s OK
